Accounts Payable A/P Supervisor

Oversee the daily processing and month end close of accounts payable in the AP system. Maintain accounting controls by enforcing policies and procedures surrounding the expenditures cycle. Directs the processing of 1099s at year end. Manage customer relationships (internal/external) to ensure consistent service is provided. Prepare analytical reports as assigned or requested by Treasurer or other Ciena corporate staff. Direct 3 Accounts Payable personnel on processing, coding, month end close, training, etc. Requirements:
Associate's degree in accounting or similar designation preferred. Strong computer skills including a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to questions from management and facility associates. Experience with automated invoice processing is desired.
