Responsibilities
• Maintains charts of accounts and ledgers for various funds• Posts accounting transactions to general ledger and reconciles bank accounts• Processes vendor invoices and payment requests• Prepares reports such as sales and use tax• Analyzes and consolidates income, expense, and payroll accounts• Reviews accounting transactions for compliance with standards and budgets• Provides financial expertise and analysis• Interprets and administers policies and regulations• Assists auditors with financial record review• Prepares financial reports, work-in-progress reports, and tax returns
Requirements
• Associate's Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent• 4 years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in accounting or related field• Intermediate Excel skills• Experience with Quick Books Enterprise• Knowledge of generally accepted financial processes and regulations• Ability to research, analyze, and interpret accounting data• Well-developed math and language skills• Ability to work cooperatively and use computer software
