Responsibilities
• Perform purchasing and accounts payable functions• Assist with financial reports and state/federal financial status reports• Review purchase requisitions and customer vouchers• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on approval and submittal• Maintain vendor records and files• Verify vendor invoices and employee expense reports• Resolve discrepancies and assign general ledger codes• Prepare batches of vendor invoices for payment• Process customer payment requests and budget for customer obligations• Track and audit ITA's and update ITA financial information• Strive to reduce and improve error rate
Requirements
• HS/GED required, AA/AS degree in finance or bookkeeping preferred• 1-3 years minimum experience in accounts payable• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Demonstrated customer service skills and computer skills• Basic computer literacy including use of Internet and Microsoft Office products• Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs
