Accounting Specialist and Responsibilities :
Main responsibility is to account for and submit for posting all HCS PB insurance payments in a timely manner. Import and allocate multiple HCS entity bank and lockbox deposit statements. Reconcile the deposits with the electronic remits and manually save the required payment remits for posting. Submit payments for posting within the acceptable daily time guidelines. Reconcile and balance multiple HCS bank reconciliation reports with the payment posting reports daily. Research, communicate and resolve missing payment posting requests submitted by the AR follow up team. Send payment remits for non-PB claim payments to the responsible posting party in a timely manner. Communicate needed EFT/ERA payment enrollment to the team's electronic data interchange specialist. Other Information Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Professional Experience Requirements: If a Bachelor's degree: No prior experience required. If an Associate's degree: Two (2) years of experience in accounting or auditing . If a High School diploma or GED: Six (6) years of experience as an Accounting Technician, including three (3) years of experience at an advanced level.
