Accounting Manager

Manager of Corporate AccountingWe are a cloud-based real estate brokerage with offices across 15 states. We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. This position requires handling accounts payable and receivable and demands a high level of precision and reliability. We need someone who has the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.Responsibilities:Conduct monthly payroll audits and issue paychecksAssess a list of daily revenue activity to ensure accountability, balance general ledger accounts, and fix any discrepancies or problematic accountsIncrease profitability by evaluating balance sheets, income, expense accounts, and recommended adjustments while preserving accuracyProduce monthly forecasts and annual budgets to assist the day-to-day accounting procedures and operationsManage all phases of accounts payable invoicing, as well as manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivablePerform bank reconciliations and generate financial reportsQualifications:Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; degree in finance or related field is strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as QuickbooksExemplary communication skills, math skills, strong leadership skills, and customer service skills are vitalStrong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar roleStrong familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsCapability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasksExperience dealing with financial regulations and accounting procedures across multiple states preferredAbout Company:Fiv Realty Co. is a cloud-based brokerage that focuses on the productivity of real estate agents.
