Job description: Accounting Manager contributes to National Audio Company's mission of excellence by performing accounting procedures, preparing and reviewing financial documents, reports, and statements.
Responsibilities:
Accounting Manager responsibilities include: Maintain and update accounting records and files Post journal entries in the general ledger Reconcile general ledger accounts in a timely manner Reconcile bank statements Prepare bank deposits and credit card transaction entries Prepare month-end and year-end closures Accounts payable and receivables Petty cash reconciliation Prepare reports and summaries Research and document accounting discrepancies Perform financial statement review Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations Manager some HR duties. Additional duties as assigned Requirements:
Accounting Manager should have the following skills, education and experience: Minimum 3-5 years of similar accounting experience Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets QuickBooks and/or Master Tools knowledge is a plus Human resources experience is a plus. Good math skills Attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills Confidentiality and integrity This employer requires a drug and background screen as part of a conditional job offer.
