Accounting Manager

The role requires someone who can see the big picture and get involved with coordination of company financial planning, SEC Reporting, budgeting and cash management, and in ensuring appropriate accounting procedures are implemented and financial reporting conforms to GAAP.
Accounting Manager Job Duties:
Manage timely and accurate preparation of external financial reporting, ensuring statements are in accordance to US GAAP.
Prepare financial statements and supporting footnotes in accordance with GAAP for private and public company clients (SEC reporting)
Liaise with internal and external audit teams as well as finance and legal.
Reviews monthly and quarterly financial reporting package including income statement and balance sheet analysis
Management Reporting
Provide accounting analysis to contemplated or executed transactions
Review month end close and manage day to day operational accounting for various clients
Supervises and trains staff on best practices, performs annual performance reviews, and works with management on appropriate staffing allocation.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of related experience (Current or former public accounting experience preferred)
CPA license preferred
Experience using multiple accounting software platforms
Advanced Excel skills
Professionalism and ability to communicate well at any level
