Position Overview:
Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? We're currently seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee our day-to-day financial operations. As the Accounting Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing strategic guidance to our senior management team.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, billing, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare regular financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability and profitability.
Compliance:
- Coordinate with external CPAs for annual tax return processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and partnership agreements.
Team Management:
- Mentor and guide accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Systems and Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices in accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Evaluate and recommend accounting software solutions to support business needs.
Working Conditions:
- Remote office-based work environment with standard working hours.
- Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods (e.g., month-end/year-end close).

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and partnership accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with PerfectLaw is a plus) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional areas.
