As an Accounting Assistant , you will be responsible for comple ting payments and control ling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Generate client invoicing for all Catering and Suites daily events. Research backup documentation, including sales reports and BEO's for all client invoices and provide to the client with daily invoice. Research and provide additional backup to client as needed. Run Aging Report. Monitor the Accounting general email. Process customer refund requests. Follow up on outstanding A/R collections with client and review with Accounting Management weekly. Systems maintenance and statistical data entry. Crosstrain in A/P system and assist as needed. Other duties as assigned. Must be at least 18 years of age. At least one year of accounting experience is required. Two + years is preferred. Ability to work on site. This is not a remote position. Skills demonstrating critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence with specialized software platforms are highly preferred. Prior Accounts Receivable experience preferred. Prior General Ledger experience preferred. Financial analysis skills are preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office product. Intermediate Excel knowledge is a must. Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) are required. Excellent organizational & time skills management are required. Excellent attention to detail is required.
