Accounting Analyst - Accounting ServicesResponsibilitiesResponsible for completing and reviewing all month-end activities, such as:Accruals and prepaymentsDetailed expense allocationsBank Reconciliation and account reconciliationIntercompany settlements and reconciliationManage Fixed Assets subledger (capitalization and depreciation/amortization entries)Prepare month-to-date expense projections on a weekly basisPrepare monthly/quarterly/annual account variance analysis on standalone and consolidated entity levelPrepare monthly and annual Fund Administrator, Audit, and Tax support packagesInteract with various groups within and outside of Finance for expense and budget related requests and/or queriesAssist with various ad-hoc accounting projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with strong academic record (ideally a minimum of 3.5 GPA)Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate accounting experienceCPA preferred or in process of obtaining license, but not requiredStrong problem solving, analytical, written, verbal communications skillsStrong interpersonal and client services skillsStrong technical proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and web applicationsAbility to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and work independentlySolid analytical skills and judgment – strong attention to detailStrong team player and also work efficiently independentlyOracle Cloud and Tableau experience is a plus but not requiredThe estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
