Job Summary: AIS is looking for an Accountant V to work in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The incumbent will review closed conferences against policies and procedures as well as DOE guidance that is in place governing conferences. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements using accounting principles. Keeps records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities that may include, account reconciliations of various financial reports, research and analysis of financial data. Prepares reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents that project the organization's financial position. Reviews financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. May develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems. Coordinates accounting matters with other departments. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Primarily perform audit functions. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BS in Accounting MS preferred. 15+ years of experience Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q Clearance.
