Accountant

What you'll do for us: Process & reconcile daily cash receipts, credit card receipts & accounts receivable data from all department point-of-sale systems. Work with Catering/Banquet staff to invoice outside events Reconcile specific General Ledger accounts Maintain adequate cash for various point of sale registers Perform all tasks related to member account billings and balancing Track delinquent accounts and draft related correspondence & reports Maintain member files Prepare various spreadsheets & schedules as needed Assist Controller with journal entries and financial statement preparation Assist Controller with bi-weekly payroll processing Who we want: You are detailed and accurate You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and Accounting software You have a positive attitude & work ethic You have a pleasant telephone demeanor You are good at organizing, planning and prioritizing work You have flexibility to perform a wide variety of tasks in a small office setting You have a willingness to learn and work as part of a team You conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times You have a passion for performing your duties to the best of your abilities, and you're able to adapt and improve where necessary You have the ability to think on your feet and make decisions when needed Compensation based on experience.
