In this role, you're responsible for the duties listed below. Immediate opening for a Senior Accountant in Gardena, CA who possesses: Accountant/Sr. Accountant - 5+ yrs. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields Experience with finance, accounting, budgeting and cost accounting ideally from Manufacturing and Inventory experience Email resumes to or call FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be responsible for: Review credit worthiness on new accounts and propose credit limits for new clients to set up in SAP. Monitor and release orders on payment review. Keep management informed of credit and collection activities and take action to tackle issues raised. Process invoices and run daily snapshot report. Proceed credit memos with proper approval. Resolve customer's inquiries and disputes to provide customer service satisfaction. Assist in charge credit card and payment posting. Review and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Review and calculate commission for salesmen, and rebate for customers. Review quotes for profitability and advise sales discount range based on gross profit analysis. Review BOM set up, and calculate price based on costing Review inventory transactions and reconcile to research discrepancies. Proceed month-end close processes including bank reconciliation, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Summarize financial status and prepare trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and CPA. Assist controller in preparing financial information for management. The selected candidate will also possess: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field 5+ years of experience as an accountant Proficient with SAP accounting software a plus Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Excellent communication skills Experience with manufacturing industry a plus Salary Range: $80k-$95k/yr
