Accountant

Job Description:

Essendant, a leading national wholesale distributor, is seeking a part-time Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate for this position is driven and resourceful, with excellent planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities:- Assist with accounts receivable and payable functions- Prepare financial reports and statements- Reconcile bank statements and accounts- Assist with budgeting and forecasting- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes- Maintain accurate financial records- Work closely with the finance team to support various accounting projects

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- 1 year of relevant accounting experience- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
