Job Description:
Masco is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Austin, Texas. This part-time position offers an opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced environment. The Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and budget forecasting- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making- Assist with audits and tax filings- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and compliance documents- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information- Stay up-to-date on accounting principles and regulations
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- 2 years of accounting experience- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software- Adaptable and confident personality traits- Excellent time management and presentation skills- CPA certification is a plus
