Job Description:

American Electric Power is seeking a part-time Account Support Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with them.

Responsibilities:- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues they may have in a timely and professional manner- Collaborate with the sales team to develop account strategies and expand business opportunities with existing clients- Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to management on key metrics and KPIs- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to review progress and discuss future needs and goals- Identify potential areas for improvement in service delivery and proactively implement solutions- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth implementation of customer requests and projects- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights to clients

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field- Proven experience in key account management or customer support, preferably in the energy industry- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and clients simultaneously- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software- Reliable and hardworking with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment- Presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients
