This is a non-exempt, full-time, or part-time position that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with multiple teams. This position is responsible for facilitating the deposit processing workflow while providing general knowledge and expertise for the New Accounts Banking Specialists. The person to fill this position must demonstrate superior communication, teamwork, organization, and delegation skills amongst all Timberline Bank customers and team members company wide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide quality customer service promptly and courteously at all times. Answer and transfer incoming phone calls. Maintain and review inactive and dormant accounts. Develop process for deposit file maintenance. Assist with deposit files in the production workflow. Complete deposit system (NGP) maintenance after account opening or account revisions. Ensure internal processes are complete for closed accounts. Review overdrawn accounts on a weekly basis, notifying officers and reaching out to clients as required. Assist all Banking Specialists with deposit exceptions, including EBB maintenance and scanning. Communicate directly with clients regarding their account documentation and changes. Complete deposit research, retrieve statements, and recover files for other departments in the Bank. Work with the New Accounts Team to verify services are ordered for customers such as debit cards and checks. Revise deposit accounts with changes such as name merges, name change, and adding or removing signers. Create and implement internal controls for the team to ensure efficient division of labor. Visit business clients to install, assess, or repair RDC scanners. Be the primary point of contact for the bank concerning RDC set-up and maintenance. Work with New Accounts and Review to create a cohesive workflow between departments. Continually train new and existing Account Services Specialists to empower a dedicated team that exceeds customer expectations. Maintain and review inactive and dormant accounts. Develop processes for deposit file maintenance. Answer and transfer incoming calls. Follow established audit, security and compliance guidelines and Bank policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as internal policies. Duties may be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved. Required Knowledge and Expertise High School Diploma or equivalent Customer-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements Demonstrated commitment to innovation and change and willingness to take initiative to accomplish change. Proven people, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills with a team-focused attitude. General working knowledge of the compliance laws/regulation regarding deposit/loan accounts. Knowledge of Bank data processing system and deposit software platforms. Proficient in computer software programs including Excel and Word. Ability to work on a computer for extended hours at a time. Time Management : Ability to effectively utilize available time for the completion of necessary job tasks. **Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered.
