About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Strategic Accounts Sales Manager to drive sales of our products and services to end-user customers within designated strategic accounts. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for their assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for both the customer and Avaya. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to safeguarding the strategic interests of all parties involved. Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to assigned strategic accounts with a multi-year focus to achieve balanced growth, continued account penetration, and sustained customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for all customer interactions, establishing and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships at the executive level.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure critical executives understand how Avaya solutions align with their business needs and objectives.
Lead and coordinate strategic account planning activities to enhance the quality of the sales pipeline, accelerate revenue generation, and improve the overall customer buying experience.
Introduce specialists and partners based on strategic sales activities, ensuring that the appropriate resources are engaged to support customer requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the client's industry, global business landscape, and socio-economic environments to understand better and anticipate customer needs.

About You

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with at least five years in a high-tech industry.
Executive leadership experience at a VP or Business Unit manager level.
Proven track record of success in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key clients.
Specific knowledge of the client's global business, political, and socio-economic environments is preferred.
