JNS Facility Maintenance is currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Account Manager. For over 25 years, JNS has been operating in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas as a local family owned and operated janitorial service company. With extensive experience in the commercial cleaning industry, JNS is a service provider which leads by example in professionalism, quality service, and commitment to the highest standards of excellence.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with new and existing customers and be friendly and approachable. An Account Manager should be comfortable traveling to multiple client sites and managing many accounts of all sizes with specialized needs. Additionally, they should also have a great eye for detail and the ability to present information in a way that will make our clients excited for the services we can provide. This position will require strong organizational and communication skills – conflict management is a must. Account Managers may be expected to handle urgent calls after-hours or on weekends and holidays as needed and may occasionally work outside of office hours during high-volume times of year or as needs dictate. This is a full time, salaried position that reports directly to the Sales Director.
Job Responsibilities Performs walk-throughs and gathers information for bid Creates scope of work for new account based on bid package Presents bid to client and follows up Collaborates with peers and supervisors to establish and maintain excellent service levels Prepare written correspondence such as email, letters, memos, etc Communicates with Field Manager with any client needs or issues Builds relationship with prospective and current clients Routinely visits and engages with clients Responds professionally in a timely manner to client needs Hands-on inspections of accounts with clients Ensures client is satisfied with overall service Responds to emergency calls, coordinates prompt action and communicates to necessary individuals Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License Previous experience in business management or account management Advanced verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency Motivated, self-starter Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills Fluid customer interaction at all levels of the organization Ability to present, explain or train in formal and informal settings Good attendance record and ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.
