The Account Manager is responsible for business development and project delivery satisfaction for key clients.They must understand customer needs, develop strategic plans, and grow sales for the company.They will also build and maintain relationships with clients and the delivery team.

Responsibilities
• Understand customer needs and develop strategic plans to meet their goals• Develop and maintain relationships with clients on multiple levels• Participate in project delivery and client meetings• Connect talent and clients to create new relationships and outcomes• Manage fee proposals and participate in sales activities• Track and maintain business development activities in CRM• Follow established sales processes and take direction from senior leadership• Participate in networking opportunities and industry organization events• Work closely with Business Development Associate, Director of Account Management, and VP of Business Development• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or related field• 5+ years of experience in the architectural, engineering, construction, finance, or real estate industry• 5+ years of demonstrated business development or client relationship experience• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
Key Skills Needed
• Understanding of HVAC mechanical systems and/or central chilled water/boiler plant operations• Ability to read/interpret mechanical blueprints• Knowledge of building construction, general contracting, and facility/systems commissioning• Understanding of building automation and control systems• Ability to read/interpret controls diagrams and submittals• Knowledge of fault detection, analytics, and monitoring-based commissioning• Understanding of facilities maintenance and/or healthcare/higher education organizations• Deep experience/understanding of energy efficiency projects• Knowledge of retrocommissioning, utility programs, energy service contracts, and/or energy-as-a-service• Existing relationships and connections with potential clients in healthcare/higher education or other industry partners
