Make your mark in Travel Assistance
The Global Account Manager is a critical position in the success of AIG's Global Travel Assistance and No Additional Charge (NAC) business. The role is responsible for the account management and operations functions for a new and growing global clients. This role will interface with the global client and internal AIG departments/stakeholders in order to execute the global client's growth vision. Works with the Vice President of Travel Assistance Sales, Business Development Managers, Global Accounts team, and Executive Leadership at AIG in order to grow the client business including product and country expansion.
How you will create an impact
Develop and execute innovative strategy related to the growth and maintenance of existing clients.
Work closely with risk managers/captive management teams and oversees the end-to-end process for funds being ceded to the NAC client captive insurance companies.
Establishing good working relationship with the global client, posturing self as trusted source of knowledge and innovation.
Ensuring program operations is developed and maintained on an ongoing basis including data integrations, invoicing, and financials reconciliations.
Ensuring that proposed client agreements align with operational process capacity of AIG, and receive support from internal departments to ensure that the strategy and goals are delivered appropriately, including claims, finance, underwriting, and IT.
Work closely with VP Travel Assistance, Business Development Manager and Account Development Managers to provide current market and industry trends and anticipate hurdles to ensure that forecasts and programs are aligned to remain competitive in complex conditions.
Understand the idiosyncrasies of the global client, identifying decision makers, and tailoring approach to align with the internal processes of the account.
Performs other duties as required to support AIG and account growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Knowledge of No Additional Charge Benefit Industry will be heavily favored.
Strong project management and organization skills are a must.
Proven track-record of operations success.
Ability to review and prepare financial documents relating to account performance and goals.
Ability to analyze account data and develop compelling narratives based on data. Data modelling skills a plus.
Ability to analyze market and industry trends, and identify potential untapped areas of growth.
Skilled in negotiations, expectation setting, and delivering on promises.
Ability to develop materials and present in a highly-professional manner to executives and key stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes telecommunications and in-person presentations. Estimated Travel Percentage (%): Up to 25%
