Position: Accounts Director (Remote)
About Us:
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Director to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead integrated marketing and branding projects from initial sales to final project delivery. Working closely with diverse teams of data analysts, writers, designers, and strategists, you'll oversee comprehensive market research studies, branding initiatives, website redesigns, and advertising campaigns. Our ideal candidate is passionate about higher education, values cross-team collaboration, and excels in building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic insight and direction throughout project lifespans to ensure client objectives are met.
Maintain continuity across individual project phases and multiple client projects to ensure cohesive outcomes.
Lead high-level client meetings, offering industry knowledge and insights.
Manage client expectations and satisfaction, including crisis management.
Drive agency sales efforts, including prospecting, client growth, proposal development, and pitching.
Participate in agency marketing efforts, contributing to content creation, presenting at conferences, and representing the agency in the media.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8-10 years of experience in client-facing roles.
Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, writing).
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in higher education marketing/communications preferred.
Understanding of market research, brand strategy, marketing planning, and digital marketing principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, grow client relationships, and navigate project challenges.
Comfortable collaborating with remote project teams nationwide.
