Accessioning Data Administrator - St. Louis, Mo Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for 1 qualified, full-time, temporary to potential permanent, QC Technician for one of our clients. The position is in St. Louis, MO, and the need to fill this position is immediate.
The Accessioning Data Administrator will be responsible for reviewing all paperwork for specimens received while keeping paper requisitions neatly organized. This position will not include the handling of specimens. All duties for this position will be performed outside of the wet lab in an office setting.
Responsibilities: Review large volumes of accessioned requisitions in our laboratory information management system (LIMS) ensuring all are entered accurately.
Verify entered information by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
Enter all received specimens into designated excel spreadsheet (this includes specimen logistics, discrepancies, new and updated information, and client services trackers).
Track discrepant specimens to ensure information is being updated accordingly.
Organize, sort, and store all paper requisitions received.
Communicate and assist client services to ensure all received specimens are meeting the required turn-around-times.
Photocopying or scanning requisitions into laboratory information management system (LIMS) system.
Identify inefficiencies within our laboratory information management system (LIMS) and work in partnership with management to improve operations.
Act as liaison between the lab team, the client services team, and the data team to address and resolve discrepant paperwork.
Requirements: Ability to properly store all requisitions in an organized and easily retrievable manner.
Good communication skills between different departments within the company.
Close attention to detail.
Experience with MS Office (especially Excel) and database entry.
Patient confidentiality
Demonstrate ability to work independently.
Pay: $21-22/hr Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PM
