• Work with large and eclectic student populations• Guide students in choices to successfully graduate from UAB• Adhere to UAB policy and requirements• Participate in orientations, scholarship events, and UAB Days• Teach First Year Experience courses as determined by the Director of Academic Advising
Requirements
• Master's degree in a closely related field• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills• 3 years of combined academic and counseling experience• Ability to encourage people and problem-solve• Interpersonal skills• Ability to work alone as well as with a team
