Job Description: The ACACIA Center (https://acaciacenter.mssu.edu/) is looking for a compassionate individual to help us live out our mission of providing high quality applied behavior analysis services to a variety of unique learners and providing exceptional education and preparation to individuals desiring to learn and develop their applied behavior analysis skills for their future careers. This part-time position has the potential of becoming full-time based on the growth of the Center and ABA Program which will be, in part, facilitated by the Coordinator position.
Responsibilities: Provide ABA therapy to clients in both center-based and off campus settingsDevelop, implement, and monitor treatment plans based on data collection and analysis Use ABA techniques to teach clients communication, social, educational, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goalsAdhere to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards, safety, and protective hygieneProvide parental training and family support Supervise and educate students learning and developing skills in ABA techniquesManage clinic operations and communications Complete billing, maintain documentation, and monitor clinic's budget as required Maintain and build community partnershipsSupport and represent MSSU's ABA program Required Qualifications: BCBA or BCaBA certification, RBT certification will be considered, as well as those enrolled in behavior-analytic programsCommunicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, students, and colleaguesDependable, organized, and professional attitude Data collection and analysis skillsSuccessful background clearanceSensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populationsAbility to remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clientsHave the ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods of time and bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weight of up to 50 poundsPreferred Qualifications: Experience working at an ABA ClinicExperience managing/supervising an ABA ClinicExperience supervising individuals training in ABA Experience educating individuals in ABA techniquesExperience and training in trauma-informed care
