Now Hiring: A&P Mechanic Location: Milwaukee, WI
Offering: Competitive Salary: $29 - $35/hr Type: Full-time, Permanent Robust Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life, STD/LTD Insurance, Vacation and Sick Pay, Holiday Pay, 401(k) with company match Role Insight: Under general guidance, you'll be pivotal in maintaining, modifying, and servicing aircraft and their components, in strict adherence to manufacturer's specs and FAA regulations.
Your Impact: Conducting routine maintenance and thorough inspections according to ACC's and manufacturers' guidelines. Utilizing your expertise to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, identifying and executing the necessary repairs or replacements. Performing modifications to aircraft systems, guided by technical drawings and publications. Assembling, installing, and testing various aircraft components with precision. Facilitating emergency repairs to minimize aircraft downtime, which may involve travel. Overseeing maintenance records to ensure timely maintenance checks and overhauls. Upholding cleanliness and safety standards in all operations. We're Looking For: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical college or training preferred. Certification: FAA Airframe and Powerplant License. Experience: 3-5 years preferred, with extensive knowledge in interpreting schematics and problem-solving. Skilled in using hand and power tools, with a good understanding of aircraft maintenance safety. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Why Join Us?
