Overview

Our Salina facility is part of the transportation division and is located at 413 E Berg Road. The internship will begin in May of 2024 and end in August 2024 and will be full time (40 hours a week). This is a paid opportunity but housing is not provided so you must have both housing and transportation. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Exposure to the Industrial battery business and invaluable professional development Be an active participant in various and multiple engineering projects Collect and analyze various data sets pursuant of product and project improvement Develop cost reduction and product quality improvement ideas Design and develop LEAN initiatives, Kaizen, and TPM events focused on overall organization optimization of business processes and practices. Qualifications
We are looking for students: Graduating between DEC 2024 and MAY 2026 Working towards BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering With a GPA of 3.0 or greater You must have housing and transportation The position is required to work onsite daily
