Our new technology hub in Seattle will focus on software product development for our Commercial, Data & Machine Learning, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering Excellence (dev tools) products and platforms.Moderna's Engineering Excellence (EE) is an organization at the core of transforming Moderna's enterprise service-oriented architecture, software development practices, and development operations (DevOps) model. We are building from the ground up to deliver foundational services that ensure quality from step zero, eliminate undifferentiated work for builders, and prevent tech-debt from being (re)introduced to our systems.We are looking to add a Software Development Engineering Co-Op to our team to not only get exposure to systems and practices but to help drive the EE mission. The ideal candidate will be someone that has experience or interest in large scale systems, building services from the ground up, ensuring quality is baked in, and experience with mentoring other engineers crossed different roles. Partnering with other EE teams as well as external product teams as necessary, this individual will have the ability to discover, evaluate, and drive solutions from start to finish.Our program starts on July 15, 2024 and ends on December 13, 2024.
