Description: As a WLAN Analyst for the clients Americas team you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team on complex network projects. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills as you support a wide variety of networkrelated solutions. You will also utilize your technical skillset and business understanding to help solve critical business problems. This role will work with the WLAN team to provide support for all of the clients locations across the Americas. Typical Day: Work directly on WLAN issue identification and resolution including offshift and weekend support functions Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components Work actively with business partners and vendors with integration of infrastructure Implement WLAN designs Work with expanded WLAN team to implement processes and/or process improvements to aid in development and support Maintain and administer WLAN including hardware software applications software and configurations. Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve WLAN hardware software or other network and system problems. Participate in an oncall rotation with team members approximately 1 week every 8 weeks Technical Skills Required: (Required)
Computerrelated or engineeringrelated fouryear college or university degree Three to six years of progressively responsible IT jobrelated experiences WLAN implementation and support knowledge of risk domains tiered domains TCP/IP fundamentals ethernet QoS IP subnetting cabling (copper & fiber) OSPF VLAN Trunking VLANs and switching configuration. Functional experience with LAN operations and implementation utilizing Cisco switches. Cisco WLAN devices/products (i.e. AireOS 9NA0s etc.) (Desired)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Experience with automation technologies and scripting Relevant work experience with medium to large companies Must have knowledge of configuration commands software and hardware components related to WLAN Soft Skills Required: Attention to detail Effective communication skills Education Requirements: Bachelors degree with 8years experience Travel: None
