What You'll Do:
Empower Cutting-Edge Systems : Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools, ensuring they are primed for optimal performance.
Champion Reliability : Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems availability, so our mission-critical applications remain rock-solid.
Performance Optimization : Monitor and test application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to implement effective solutions.
Resolve Challenges : Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve system issues swiftly, keeping our operations running smoothly.
Safety First : Maintain robust security, backup, and redundancy strategies to safeguard our vital data.
System Craftsmanship : Skillfully build, maintain, and deploy both client and server systems, ensuring they are finely tuned.
Streamlined Support : Develop and maintain efficient and automated client system support processes that increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Innovate with Scripts : Write and maintain custom scripts to streamline system processes, saving time and improving overall efficiency.
Collaborative Design : Participate in the design of information and operational support systems that drive mission success.
Security Compliance : Work closely with an Information Assurance team to ensure compliance with Authorizations to Operate (ATOs).
Vendor Relations : Collaborate with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) vendors and fellow IT professionals to swiftly resolve any technical issues.
Document Excellence : Maintain comprehensive documentation, including System Installation Procedures (SIP), System Administration Guide (SAG), System User Manual (SUM), Change Documents, and daily updates, ensuring our systems are well-documented.

Qualifications Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph Must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study and 8 or more years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A minimum 8 years of experience with systems administration Active Security+ (DoD 8570 Baseline certification for IAT Lvl 2) Experience with WINS 2012 or higher Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Experience with performing routine patching Experience installing and configuring software applications Experience with performance tuning/troubleshooting, identifying/resolving contention in CPU, memory, networking, disk I/O, etc. Experience maintaining system documentation including reading and creating network architecture diagrams Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Cloud environment Desired Qualifications:  Familiar with writing/Editing PowerShell Scripts Familiar with maintaining applications built on a SQL Server database in a Windows environment. Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
