Warehouse Operator

Job Description: As part of a team and under supervision, adhere to established procedures and guidelines for handling, storing, processing system transactions, and dispatching goods within a factory or warehouse environment. Responsibilities include receiving incoming goods, conducting thorough checks for damage and discrepancies, accurately sorting, labeling, and storing items to maximize warehouse efficiency, as well as picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods based on written or verbal orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): Maintain a vigilant approach to safety by promptly reporting any major hazards or incidents, adhering to HSE standards and regulations, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment, and actively participating in HSE training. Quality: Adhere to standard work procedures and quality protocols, promptly address any issues to minimize cost and quality risks, conduct quality checks, identify and manage non-conforming material. Delivery: Efficiently handle incoming goods, organize storage space, operate manual and automated equipment for picking, packing, and shipping products, ensure compliance with customer expectations, and maintain high competency in core work skills. Teamwork: Foster effective communication within the team and support groups, complete required training, actively contribute to process improvements, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with peers and support staff to address equipment maintenance needs. Forklift Experience Shipping Experience Order Pulling/Picking Additional Manager Notes This role entails preparing and pulling orders for shipment, including inventory counting, and requires proficiency in forklift operations. It's a temp-to-hire position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, with occasional overtime. Interviews will be conducted onsite for 30 minutes.
Maximum pay rate: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
