SUMMARY:

This position has the responsibility of leading and overseeing the warehouse functions including the medical equipment technicians, equipment cleaners, warehouse coordinators and ensure adequate inventory at location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will lead by demonstrating leadership which will include engaging with staff, training, problem solving, and assisting customers as needed.
Must be able to evaluate each department's function and drive the department changes for better efficiencies and processes.
Must be able to understand dispatch and work with dispatch to gain efficiency in routing.
Is responsible for ensuring equipment has been cleaned or inventory is available when deliveries are needed.
Is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory, participating in counts, and making sure inventory is available when needed.
Responsible for local fleet management.
Will be responsible for coordinating the relocation of

departments/locations

as needed.
Must be able to effectively communicate with multiple departments and ensure the communications between departments.
Interview, hire, engage, develop, evaluate, discipline and motivate appropriate personnel as needed.
Delegate job responsibilities efficiently and insure that delegated tasks are carried out properly.
Work closely with company leadership in developing and meeting company goals and objectives.
Ensures all areas of responsibility are survey ready at all times.
Knowledgeable of and responsible for current company policies and procedures as they relate to the above duties.
Accountable to manage to budget and adjust operations to meet financial performance.
Must maintain a genuine care and concern for patients and their families.
Assists with Performance Improvement activities and outcomes.
All other duties as assigned by Management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES

This position will supervise multiple employees in various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive and positive with internal and external customers and coworkers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). A college degree preferred.
Five (5) years of experience or combination of

experience/education

preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
Preferred background in the home medical equipment industry, including warehouse and inventory.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.

Skills & Abilities

Must command a strong knowledge of the DME industry, services, and, operations with a good knowledge of medical terminology.
Must be proficient with computer systems such as RoadNet, HDMS, OnBase, PulseM and MS Office.
Must be able to work with all levels of staff and be able to delegate and follow-up.
Sound organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriately
Exhibit a sense of urgency and focus on results
Self-motivated

and disciplined team player
Detailed oriented and able to oversee details in all operating and general personnel positions within the company.
Able to communicate clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing.

Willing to work varying schedules and drive to multiple locations as business dictates

Language Skills

Must be proficient and able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using a calculator.

Analytical & Problem Solving Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must keep a valid driver's license and be able to pass an annual mvr.

This position may require driving to different offices on a regular basis in all seasons of weather.

This position will work in office and warehouse environments. This position will be required to travel to multiple offices as needed in all weather conditions.
