We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales Operations to spearhead the development and execution of our South Business Unit's objectives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in delivery operations, warehouse management, logistics, and supply chain management. They must excel in building strong relationships and have a documented history of driving operational excellence and standardization across business units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Guide the strategic planning and execution processes across the business unit, ensuring alignment with our broader company priorities. You will be tasked with fostering a lean operational mindset, driving growth, and nurturing our brand and people.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to operational excellence and effective execution. Focus on talent identification, providing continuous feedback, and fostering career development.
Operational Excellence: Set a clear vision for achieving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize operational practices, and ensure alignment between sales, operations, and supply chain teams.
Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial performance of the region, including budget management and cost optimization, while ensuring all operations align with our strategic goals.
Safety and Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture within the organization, ensuring compliance with all DOT, EHS, and OSHA regulations. Lead efforts to reduce accidents and injuries and maintain high standards of workplace safety.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources, to ensure strategic and executional alignment.
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in leadership roles within warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or delivery operations.
Strong understanding of Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) systems and B2C environments.
Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of leadership experience, ideally in progressively senior roles.
Experience in a unionized environment is preferred, with a strong grasp of DOT, EHS, and OSHA compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
