Our client is hiring a VP of Accounting to lead their financial teamThe position reports directly to the CFOThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA
Job seniority: director level and above
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the accounting team• Oversee financial consolidations for multi-entity organizations• Work with PE-backed companies• Provide financial expertise and guidance• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations• Collaborate with cross-functional teams• Prepare and present financial reports• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes• Identify and implement process improvements• Drive operational efficiencies
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance• CPA certification• 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience• 4+ years in a leadership role• Experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 or large regional)• Experience with PE-backed companies• Expertise in financial consolidations• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations• Excellent communication and leadership skills• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
