Underwriting Manager

Looking to take that next step into a leadership role? We are searching for an Underwriting Manager to work for an admitted insurance carrier that writes small commercial and middle-market businesses with independent agents. This position, based in Austin, TX, will manage 5-7 underwriters who underwrite commercial insurance across Texas and the Southwest.

You will be responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and managing the profit and loss for the commercial insurance business for a company that values your contributions and offers great promotional opportunities.

I'm looking for someone with at least 5 years of commercial underwriting experience who is ready to take the next step into management.
