Job Title: Truss Designer Truss Designer Duties & Responsibilities Create component designs for shop fabrication based on information gathered from customers and project documents. Design residential, Commercial, multi-family and apartment roof and floor system and produce layouts using Alpine software Partner with your internal and external customers to ensure accuracy on estimates. Maintain job related files, including project status' and electronic filing. Using critical thinking skills to resolve architectural and design discrepancies. Create and update component designs for prefabrication shop and field installation Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers as needed providing accurate, timely, and through information. Truss Designer Requirements: Minimum Experience. 6 years in truss design. Special Skills. Ability to operate computer, use the Microsoft Suite, and can quickly learn how to use proprietary software for design. Alpine Experience is a must. Communication. Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills (Required). Education. College education in architectural design, Engineering, or equivalent. Teamwork. Ability to work as a team and help motivate others. Excellence. Must have an excellent attendance history with a work ethic to match.
