Responsibilities
• Deliver solo to IN, WI, and Canada• Service the route, not the truck• Perform loading/unloading of freight if required• Follow written and/or oral instructions• Maintain accurate records and logs• Detect and minimize safety hazards• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum 21 years of age• Pass Ryder drug test• Pass background and motor vehicle check• Pass DOT physical• Pass Ryder road test• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements• At least 9 months of tractor trailer experience within the past 3 years, OR• At least 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, OR• At least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations• Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts
