Join Our Team: Our Treasury Management team is searching for a Treasury Accountant in our Scottsdale, AZ office . The Treasury Accountant is crucial in ensuring the efficient handling, processing, and management of cash transactions within a financial institution or corporate environment. This position requires a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and an extensive understanding of banking procedures and regulations.
Your Impact: Banking Operations Initiate wires for our clients accurately and timely in the appropriate banking systems, update our bank reports, and send confirmations Assist with incoming and outgoing daily banking payment files and ensure accurate counts and totals Perform daily reconciliation of cash balances to identify and resolve discrepancies on time Collaborate with other departments, such as payment processing and finance teams, to ensure accurate reporting of cash transactions Assist with preparing bank balancing reports, including bank interbank transfers performed Compliance and Risk Management Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies governing cash operations and banking activities, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity and escalate potential compliance issues to the appropriate compliance teams Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews to assess the effectiveness of cash handling procedures and controls Customer Service Provide professional assistance to customers and clients with cash-related inquiries, account issues, and transaction requests Resolve customer complaints or concerns related to cash transactions promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience Requirements Previous experience in cash handling, banking operations, or financial services is strongly preferred Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software platforms Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Free Food & Snacks Wellness Resources
