Total Loss Adjuster Location Florida : Key Function: Total loss settlement processes Efficiently manages the total loss settlement process and rental expenses; works closely with appraisers, rental facilities, body shops, and salvage vendors Manages deductibles and policy limits Understands the applicable statutes, regulations, and case law Key Function: Evaluation and analysis Evaluates and negotiates settlement of automobile first and third party physical damage claims within established settlement authority limits Negotiates any excessive storage charges Analyzes information obtained to establish compliance for regulatory requirements and settlement value Key Function: Claims liaison Explains procedures and answer inquiries for adjusting auto total loss claims Meets all quality standards and expectations based off Acceptance's best practices and complies with state specific regulations Possesses strong customer service skills and behaviors Makes decisions in an informed, confident, and timely manner Maintains constructive working relationships despite differing perspectives Other duties as assigned Desired Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or Bachelor's degree Minimum 2 years of experience as an auto insurance Claims Adjuster Required to have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits; yearly training required Proficient in Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills; flexible and versatile Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Commitment to Acceptance's company values Able to lift 0-10 pounds without assistance As a Team Member at First Acceptance Insurance Company, you will be part of a growing organization that continues to evolve and positively impacts the lives of our team members and customers.
