The successful candidate will have a history driving technical strategy, functional direction, and architecture for large scale enterprise software. You will have a hands-on role in the development of Oracle's enterprise cloud services by driving functional andtechnical specifications through engineering and business teams.
You will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifies, designs, and develops software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Responsibilities Required Experience + BS/MS/PhD in computer science or related field.
+ 15+ years in building enterprise and consumer grade applications.
+ 15+ years' experience leading programs or developing distributed, scalable, performant and fault-tolerant software systems.
+ Hands-on experience in program management developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS , Azure, Oracle).
+ Experience driving roadmaps into features and services for Oracle customers.
+ Previous software development experience for hyper scale cloud providers.
+ Experience in or familiarity with developing software projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies with geographically distributed teams is highly desired.
Preferred Skills and Experience You will act as a leader of large-scale company initiatives and viewed within the organization as a top contributor and key business partner. This includes:
+ Lead and define the architecture, data, and cloud strategy.
+ Collaborate with program and product managers and engineering teams across the company in understanding requirements and arriving at designs / designs patterns, shared across multiple products and services.
+ Provide key inputs into prototypes for systems engineering, machine learning/Artificial Intelligence use cases with development of software for Oracle's most important customers.
+ Use models/predictive analytics techniques leveraging both repeatable patterns in data and discovering outliers, structural anomalies and or prediction.
+ Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
+ Recommend and justify major changes to existing products/services/processes to senior executives.
+ Provide technical direction/strategy for the organization and company, and collaborate with Oracle's technical partners/vendors on long-term strategy.
+ Bring stellar analytical skills along with communication and presentation skills.
+ You are an effective team player, but you are also independent, and self-directed.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
