Responsibilities
• Perform formal and informal assessments of academic achievement, social-emotional development, and vocational skills• Prepare materials, lesson plans, and activities based on assessment goals• Review referral and assessment data to understand each student's history and disabilities• Manage the classroom and maintain a safe learning environment• Ensure the rights of all students are protected through appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques• Comply with company policies and maintain confidentiality of student records• Coordinate with outside agencies and communicate with families and staff members• Provide timely and accurate documentation• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom environment
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree• 1-2 years of experience• Valid Tennessee Teacher's License• Valid Driver's License
