Surety Bond Account Coordinator

Job summary
The Account Coordinator assists the Account Executive or Account Representative with servicing, invoicing, and general administrative dutiesPrepares and executes bonds and other documents for delivery to clientsFollows workflow with regards to commercial bond execution, renewals, cancellations, and riders

Responsibilities
• Processing work associated with the contract surety or commercial surety unit• Taking direction from the Account Executive for bond issuance, renewal, bid results, payment follow-up, and producer financial filing duties• Executing requested work in an efficient manner and reviewing work for accuracy• Reviewing bid specifications and executing bid bonds accurately• Understanding contract surety including bid, performance, payment bond, consents of surety, and bid letters• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience• Strong organization and communication skills• Tech savvy; ability to learn multiple systems• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
