What we do: Our customers are locked in uniquely themed rooms. They must work to solve a series of puzzles to "escape" the room, just like they are in a real-life app or television show! Customer service and leadership skills from any job can be applied here & we will train you to be an enthusiastic guide for our escape rooms! Customers always leave happy & smiling & you will too! Your tasks will include greeting customers, monitoring games/providing clues, room reset, supervision of team members & helping customers have a great experience.
We are looking for upbeat candidates who are: Detailed oriented with good observation skills Great communicators in person and over the phone Customer service focused Inspirational in their leadership approach Duties and Responsibilities Great customers upon arrival and departure Manage check in process and payments as needed Answer incoming calls Quickly and accurately reset rooms Diligently monitor games, quickly providing clues and additional assistance when appropriate Leading post-game review sessions with enthusiasm and positivity Ensure quality of service of the team members Maintain outstanding customer review Troubleshoot customer inquiries Opening and closing of EscapeTime Create a positive work environment for all team members Take group pictures Maintain a clean and welcoming environment Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Leadership and training skills Must be able to process cash and credit transactions Great multitasking abilities Ability to complete basic mathematical functions Must be computer and printer literate Have an aptitude to learn new programs Must be able to problem solve creatively Ability to perform assigned duties and provide exceptional customer service under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment Undertake light cleaning, maintenance, and repair Motivate staff keeping them on task and assisting when needed Required Education & Experience High School or equivalent Customer Service: 2 to 3 years Leadership: 2 to 3 years of leading a team of more than 4 Experience working as a supervisor is preferred but not required Strong communication skills with the ability to listen effectively Ability to train and lead a team to success Organizational skills Physical Demand Working weekends. Ability to sit and stand for a long period of time with basic range of motion (bending, twisting, reaching etc.) Ability to lift 30 to 40lbs Ability to climb a ladder.
