As a Substitute Teacher, you'll play a vital role in upholding our district's educational philosophy, goals, and objectives, ensuring that every student receives quality instruction and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, maintaining continuity in learning experiences.
Deliver engaging instruction to assigned classes at designated times and locations.
Foster a supportive and orderly classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
Prioritize student safety by taking necessary precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities.
Provide constructive feedback to support student growth and development, collaborating closely with classroom teachers.
Assist in reinforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Foster collaboration and cooperation with fellow school personnel to enhance the overall educational experience.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Support administrative functions as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the school community.
Report to the principal or their designee at the beginning and end of each school day, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years working in an educational setting.
Experience working with students with learning disabilities is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to inclusive education.
