Flexible Schedule Paid Sick Leave Responsibilities: 1 Operations Management: · Supervise overall restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanup.
· Ensure operation and maintenance of all restaurant equipment, fixtures, and furnishings according to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
2 Staff Management: · Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance.
· Utilize sales forecasts to strategically manage team working hours, creating efficient work schedules that align with anticipated business volumes and sales goals.
· Foster positive relationships with employees, promoting a constructive and safe work environment.
3 Health and Safety Compliance: · Enforce health, safety, and sanitation policies to maintain a clean work environment.
· Uphold food safety standards, ensuring fresh, properly prepared food is served as per recipe specifications.
· Monitor and manage food preparation, stocking, and display, maintaining organization and quality.
4 Inventory and Records Management: · Keep accurate records of food, beverage, and liquor inventory.
· Handle receipt, inspection, and recording of deliveries and inventory.
· Maintain records of all inspections, certifications, and related reports.
5 Customer and Event Management: · Develop strategies to foster positive customer relationships.
· Plan and organize special events, like holiday celebrations and catering orders.
6 Administrative Duties: · Assist in preparing menus and kitchen reports.
· Ensure daily cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
7 Communication and Leadership: · Exhibit strong communication skills and tact in dealing with staff and customers.
· Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the food and beverage industry. Valid WA Food Handler and MAST Permit. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and/or experience working in a Vietnamese restaurant preferred. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
