Responsibilities
• Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise• Serve as internal subject matter expert in control systems and system integration• Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and programming• Travel to customer sites for machine commissioning and troubleshooting support• Maintain logs and written records of duties performed
Requirements
• BS in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred• Experience in industrial automation industry or equivalent• CNC troubleshooting experience• Experience in IEC61131 (PLC programming languages)• Fundamental understanding of electrical design practices and system integration• Strong communication skills• Willingness to travel to customer sites (50-70% travel expected)
Key Skills Needed
• Knowledge of control systems (Siemens PLC, HMI, Motion Control Systems)• Experience with sensors and electromechanical devices• Proficiency in PLC programming languages• Experience troubleshooting electrical control panels• Ability to use precision measurement equipment
