Sr. Accountant

Responsible for complex corporate accounting and finance activities. Reporting to the VP of Finance, responsibilities include supporting month-end and year-end close, financial reporting functions including subsidies and commission calculations with backup documentation, reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger account balances, royalty management, travel & expense processing and administration, bank reconciliation, and company credit card reconciliation. Ensures compliance with the financial procedures of the Company and maintains internal controls. Prepares various tax reports for sales and use, and other local taxes, insurance reports, and other reports required by government regulation. 
The hiring range is $80,000-$85,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package!

Competencies: Ethical Conduct; Thoroughness; Communication Skills; Collaboration Skills; Personal Effectiveness and Credibility; Problem Solving/Analysis; Technical Capacity Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required with 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience. CPA and/or Master's Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration highly preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting, is required. Advanced MS Excel skills and basic to intermediate Word skills along with proficiency using an ERP and report writing/query applications required. Some financial analyst experience is helpful.
