Responsibilities
• Perform general accounting activities• Prepare and maintain ledger accounts and financial statements• Record, analyze, and report accounting transactions• Provide financial support including forecasting and budgeting• Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports• Research accounting rules and regulations• May coach, lead, or direct others' work• Perform special projects as assigned• Support guests and team members at the highest level• Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent certification• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred• Minimum four years' experience in accounting or related area• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills• Familiarity with Lawson or general ledger accounting software preferred• Knowledge of GAAP, ERISA, and tax laws preferred• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, conflict management, influencing, and negotiation skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions• Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment
