ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a position in a school district located in Calumet City. The SPED will be responsible for providing direct services to 6th-8th grade students. Details are provided below.
Qualifications:
Illinois K-12th Special Education License
PEL license active
Master degree in Special Education
1+ year of experience, preferred
Must pass drug screen and background check upon offer

Hours: 8:00am-3:00pm
Onsite only
6th-8th grade
Resource and Self-Contained classroom settings
Responsibilities:
collaborate with other professionals, parents, and students to develop Individualized Education Programs
plan and deliver instruction that addresses the specific needs outlined in students' IEPs
maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior incidents, IEP meetings, and other relevant information in compliance with state and federal regulation
