We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our professional culinary team for a new restaurant opening in June. We are looking for talented and experienced individuals seeking a new challenge and that enjoy working in a dynamic environment. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
**Responsibilities:*
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Monitor food costs and work towards budgetary goals
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper techniques and procedures

- Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry
